Dart Licensing Options

Below you will find a brief summary of each licensing option available through Dart. Please note that acceptance of Dart's End User License Agreement (EULA) is required in order to use any Dart product.

End User License

The End User License is Dart's standard, Royalty-Free, application distribution license. Many customers will find this license agreement appropriate for their needs.

A Source Code License Addendum grants customers the ability to retain the product source code for archival purposes.

The Plug-In Distribution License Addendum grants customers the ability to use Dart products with a precompiled application.

PowerTCP is a great product. From day one of installing the software I had TCP/IP and FTP demos ready the same day. Your package makes it very easy doing either synchronous or asynchronous communication. I've tried other products and they just don't have what it takes for rapid development and reliability. It literally only took about 10 minutes for me to start passing and receiving packets over the Internet. I've been using VB for the past three years and this product is definitely on my top 5 of third party controls.

PowerVT allows us to print critical information directly from the PC - significantly reducing the time spent printing patient reports and reporting pharmacy orders.

PowerVT's multiple window feature has proven very helpful in the IT department, as it allows multiple SQL sessions to be set up when compiling reports. It will also be useful when the new finance system is in operation, as wards will be able to have patient and inventory open simultaneously, without running multiple instances of a program.

So far, it [ PowerTCP ] has far surpassed our expectations! We needed to change the default keycode sequences in the VT client, and you included that information right on the front page of the product! VERY IMPRESSIVE! Thanks for such a great product!

The most stable and reliable product I have ever worked with and it is very easy too. It is part of a program made in PowerBuilder handling requests from a voice response system; this program has been running for the last 5 months without being restarted once. It handles 2-5 thousand calls per day. Great product!

The PowerTCP FTP Tool that we purchased from Dart is excellent! It did everything we asked of it. We met our goal using it. We were able to successfully navigate various firewall configurations at our client sites and get them all using FTP to access our proprietary data. I evaluated several other FTP controls and utilities and none of them provided the same flexibility that Dart’s FTP control did!

The PowerTCP Zip Tool enabled me to encrypt data and send it over the Internet without creating a physical file on the server ! I did this using the native stream capability. This enables a client to ask for data from the server, have the data compressed into a zip file on the server, and then sent to the client without any extra files being created on the server. Furthermore, the FileStore concept allows me to store multiple files in a single compressed file, allowing for a really clean client/server distribution model. Other controls let me compress, encrypt, etc., but your design allows for a clean delivery mechanism, which is not easily accomplished with other products.

We tried repeatedly to use Microsoft Windows' built-in FTP features in our applications, but found that they were not reliable or stable enough to meet the needs of our end-users.
